This entry pertains to the artificial dragon, the constructions of the races of the settled worlds.

The artificial dragon is the concoction of strong mortal minds, an assembly of hand and will, yet it is a perversion, an ambition and purpose driven weaponization and servitude of the dragon kind, an abomination to their origin. In the brighter ages the races of the worlds would attempt to vie with the dragon kind for control of terrain, elements and faith.
The artificial dragons are as manyfold, as the sapient races of the world, gestated in the womb of civilization, given form and guise according to the religious and cultural temperance of the orchestrators. Some are majestic and loud, while others serve lesser functions, some are regal and elegant, and serve as symbols, while others bring chaos and destruction. All are commanded, bounded to the will of their creators.
Humans are the main cultivators of the artificial dragon, desiring power and glory more than most races of the worlds, and unafraid of the instability of both magic and technology.
Humans readily delved into the knowledge of flesh and bone, using the most powerful of magic and the costliest of technological advances. Dwarves, goblins and gnomes are renowned for their mechanics and artifice. The spirits and fairies birthed dragons of an ethereal make, while the elves listened to the voices and moans of the breathing earths, giving life to dragons that were tied to roots, rot and growth.
